The assessment framework reflects the Programme’s commitment to holistic student development — academic achievement, spiritual understanding, ethical reasoning, character formation, and preparation for lifelong learning and responsible citizenship.
Required Assessments
All students seeking the diploma must complete two required assessment components, each measuring a different dimension of graduate readiness: academic achievement, biblical understanding, and spiritual and character development.
Assessment 1
Iowa Assessments
Schools may use the Iowa Assessments.

Assessment 2
Christian Character and Knowledge Assessment

- Major biblical themes
- Christian doctrine
- Biblical worldview
- Application of biblical truth

- Ability to apply biblical principles and ethical reasoning to contemporary issues
- Understanding of God’s redemptive narrative

Assessment 3
Flourishing Faith Index (FFI)
A character development and community service survey measuring schoolwide character formation.

Alternative Assessment Process
The Programme recognises that national education authorities and governmental regulations may require the use of approved local, national, or international assessment instruments. Equivalent assessments may be approved when they provide valid evidence of the intended graduate competencies.
Schools may request approval to substitute a required assessment when the alternative serves the same purpose as the Programme assessment, provides valid and reliable evidence of student achievement, meets governmental or accrediting requirements, and aligns with the Programme’s learning goals.
To seek approval, schools must submit the name of the substitute assessment, its purpose, evidence of validity and reliability, alignment to the required assessment, and the local requirements necessitating the substitution. Approval must be granted prior to student graduation.
Diploma Eligibility
To Earn the Diploma, Students Must
Students who successfully complete the Sevenstar Academy International Diploma Programme assessments earn an international diploma issued by an accredited American secondary school. This recognised qualification supports admission applications to universities and colleges around the world.
