Eligibility
Who Can Apply
Any institution legally recognised and authorised to operate as an educational institution in its country may apply. “Institution” may refer to a single school, a group of schools operating under a common foundation, or multiple schools governed by a shared board or oversight body.

Application Process
Four Steps to Authorisation
Step 1
Initial Application Submission
- A completed Application to the Sevenstar Academy International Diploma Programme
- A formal letter from the Board Chair, School Owner, or governing authority expressing interest
- Documentation confirming the institution is legally recognised and authorised to operate
Step 2
Application Review and Candidacy Determination
- A Sevenstar representative conducts an initial review of submitted documentation
- A virtual meeting is scheduled with institutional leadership to assess readiness
- Sevenstar determines whether an on-site candidacy visit is required (typically 1–2 days; travel costs are the institution’s responsibility)
- If candidacy is granted, an authorisation review timeline is established — this period may extend up to three years depending on readiness
Step 3
Institutional Self-Study and Alignment Documentation
- Complete a curricular crosswalk using the framework provided by Sevenstar Academy
- Complete a self-study report demonstrating alignment with the Programme Philosophy, Statement of Faith, Academic Standards, and Educator Qualifications
- Submit both documents electronically for review
- Schools with current ACSI Accreditation may submit accreditation validity documentation in place of a full self-study
Step 4
Review and Authorisation Decision
- A Sevenstar representative reviews the self-study and crosswalk, and may recommend revisions
- A Sevenstar authorisation committee assigns one of four statuses (below)
- Approved institutions receive an Authorisation Agreement covering annual fees, programme requirements, terms of authorisation, and ongoing compliance responsibilities
Authorisation Pathway
Four Possible Outcomes
Approved
Meets all requirements; fully authorised to participate.
Conditionally Approved
Approved pending completion of specific requirements within a set timeframe.
Provisionally Approved
Self-study and/or crosswalk substantially complete; participation may begin during final review.
Not Approved
Does not currently meet requirements; not authorised to participate.
Timeline
What to Expect, and When
Typically 1–2 days on-site, scheduled after the initial review and leadership meeting. Travel and related expenses are the institution’s responsibility.
May extend up to three years from candidacy, depending on the institution’s readiness and progress toward Programme requirements.
