Whole Student Development
The organising framework for programme design, standards, assessment, worldview formation, and student outcomes across the Sevenstar Academy International Diploma Programme.
At Sevenstar Academy, we believe education is about more than academic achievement. Our Whole Student Development Model seeks to nurture students as image-bearers of God, equipped to faithfully contribute to their families, communities, nation, and the wider world. Through the development of the head, heart, and hands, students are encouraged to pursue holistic growth that integrates learning, character, service, stewardship, and purpose.
Students engage in rigorous learning that develops wisdom, critical thinking, and academic competence, and that fosters a biblical interpretation of truth, human dignity, and purpose. Through intentional spiritual formation, they deepen their understanding of God, develop Christlike character, and learn to exercise responsibility, integrity, and compassion in their relationships and decisions. Learning experiences, service opportunities, and community engagement enable students to apply their knowledge to the flourishing of others, the strengthening of communities, the stewardship of creation, and the glory of God.
Graduate Achievement Progression
Each domain of the model carries students through two connected stages of growth.
Know
Think
Be
Relate
Do
Become
The Whole Student Development Model provides the organising structure through which students progressively demonstrate the Graduate Achievement Outcomes of Know, Think, Be, Relate, Do, and Become.
